Mons pays, le Quebec

Quebec Premier, Bernard Landry issues this battle cry over the weekend, "1,000 days to sovereignty". This being conditional on the PQ being re-elected and the support for sovereignty ratcheting up. Neither of these seem likely, so anything for a round of applause. What I question is how different are these conditions from Bouchard's "Winning conditions"? Play to win, and if we can't win, then we're not gonna play. Ok boys, now's the time to take your ball home.
