I saw a billboard announcing a new intimate (read topless) Cirque de Soleil production opening July 2003, at the New York New York Hotel and Casino. Although Las Vegas is a city about excess, this may be stretching it. By 2004, there will be a total of six Cirque or Cirque-like productions in Las Vegas. Mystere at Treasure Island and O at the Bellagio have been playing for years, Celine Dion opens at Caesars Palace next March, this new one at NYNY, a new production for Le Reve when it opens and a production is in the works for the MGM to replace EFX. If you haven't seen a Cirque production and are visiting Las Vegas, you will have plenty of options.
