"Out Damned Spot!"

I've been keeping an eye on a municipal government race in Vancouver. Apparently, it's also caught the attention of the NYTimes (pw required), but their focus is on what has seemingly become the leading issue, that being safe (drug) injection sites. My curiousity has been triggered more by the cast of characters contesting the mayor's office. There's Lady Macbeth, Jennifer Clarke and the real life inspiration of Canada's Emmy-winning series, Da Vinci's Inquest, Larry Campbell. To be fair, the Lady Macbeth moniker is a little unwarranted but politics being what it is these days. I love political intrigue.
