Friday Five

1. Were you raised in a particular religious faith?

I had a christian upbringing. My family attended an Alliance church during my grade school years and I attended a Mennonite church during my high school years.

2. Do you still practice that faith? Why or why not?

I still observe the faith, however, I haven't been attending church on anything resembling a regular schedule. No particular reason comes to mind.

3. What do you think happens after death?

I think in some capacity, your spirit does live on. I'm not completely convinced, however, that anyone in this realm has it all figured out though. I think that that's part of the game.

4. What is your favorite religious ritual (participating in or just observing)?

It's not a ritual, per se, but the Pentecostal church near my high school holds seasonal 'singing Christmas tree' concerts that sell out every year.

5. Do you believe people are basically good?

Yes. I think there is good in everyone and that most are governed and behave in accordance to that nature.
